The Waterfall Escape
Rappel, slide and swim through the Jalbire waterfall canyon, a short drive from Kathmandu.
What Makes It Special
The Jalbire Canyoning Adventure is all about getting off the beaten path and into the water.
Instead of walking around the waterfalls, we go through them.
The canyon takes us through flowing water, natural pools, rock walls and waterfalls, combining rappelling, sliding, jumping, swimming and scrambling into one full day of adventure.
It is close enough to Kathmandu for a short escape, but once we enter the canyon, the city feels completely forgotten. And if one day of canyoning isn't enough, we can add another adventure to the trip with a full day of rafting on the Trishuli River.
Waterfalls, rock, rope, pools and good company one short trip with a lot of adventure.
Difficulty, Season & Who It's For

Spring and autumn offer the best conditions for this trip.
The Jalbire canyoning trip is suitable for adventurous beginners as well as experienced outdoor enthusiasts. No previous canyoning experience is required, but participants should be comfortable in water, able to follow safety instructions and have a reasonable level of physical fitness.
